RECHARGE. REFOCUS. RESET.

Often times we are so caught up in a series of goals, a desire for recognition, and the daily grind that we forget what inspired us in the beginning. As soon as we accomplish one goal, we're on to the next and we don't notice the progress that we've made overtime. Finding time to recharge, refocus, and reset is necessary.


RECHARGE. Recharge yourself physically by letting your body recover from the extra effort of sustained thought. Recharge yourself mentally by taking time off from work to do something less demanding or distracting.

  1. Create a list of your accomplishments

  2. Meditate/Exercise

  3. Take a break from social media

  4. Engage in fun activities

  5. Rest


REFOCUS. Go to a place where there are no distractions -- just peace.

  1. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones

  2. Write down your priorities and identify what no longer needs your attention

  3. Declutter and organize your space [physically and mentally]

  4. Practice mindfulness


RESET. Knowing how to disconnect is as important as knowing how to focus. It is difficult and often feels impossible, however it is crucial for your success and work-life balance. A well-maintained mind always works better than one that's overwhelmed.
